3T Strada Grigio!

Join us SATURDAY, July 19th for our "3T Strada Grigio” mixed surface ride and afterparty at Molley Chomper Cidery & Wine Bar. We have special guests from 3T Bike joining us for this ride & afterparty: 3T Q+M Cycling Team Riders Jennah Dunham and Lars Hallstrom, Joshua Welbes of 3T North America and Travis Werts our 3T Regional Representative.

THE RIDE, starting at 9am from the Lansing Creeper Trail Park (114 S Big Horse Creek Rd, Lansing, NC 28643), will highlight some of the prettiest roads in Ashe County and Virginia Highlands with a stop at Grassy Creek General Store. If you want to do a shorter ride, we also have a 24-mile route available.

All paces are welcome, but you are expected to know the route and be self-supported. Bikes equipped with 32mm or bigger tires are recommended.​

THE AFTERPARTY (starting after the ride) will be at Molley Chomper Cidery & Wine Bar (165 Piney Creek Rd, Lansing, NC 28643). In addition to tasty beverages, Molley Chomper will have a BBQ pit going with meals available for purchase. All proceeds from food purchases go to supporting local non-profits!

Try Fly: Bike & Fly

Join us SATURDAY, June 14th at Valle Crucis Community Park (2892 Broadstone Rd, Banner Elk, NC 28604) for our "Rhoddie Bicycle Outfitters x Speckled Trout Outfitters Try Fly” mixed surface ride and fly fishing clinic.

THE RIDE (starting at 9am) will highlight some of the best back roads between Valle Crucis and Banner Elk. We are offering three route options so review the routes and select the route you prefer to enjoy:

THE FLY FISHING CLINIC (starting at 12pm) will be led by Joel Brown, head guide at the Speckled Trout Outfitters. This is a free clinic which includes equipment and instruction. Participants will be required to get an NC fishing license on their own beforehand. The clinic will take place post-ride. The clinic will start at the Herrick Pavilion at VCCP with instruction and casting practice before moving to the river. RSVP to Joel (joel@thespeckledtrout.com) if you plan to join the fly fishing clinic. If you are already a fly fisherman you are also welcomed to join in on the fun!

Jumping into a cool mountain stream after a bike ride is a great way to cool off and recover your legs. Pairing a wade in a stream with fly fishing makes a great ride even better!

Gravel & Mixed Surface Ride: Locals Gravel

Ride on your bike decked out with Industry Nine wheels and shiny Cane Creek parts. Pack your snacks and drinks in your MoosePacks and Tsuga hip pack and join us for one of the prettiest rides you have ever done!

We will roll at 9am on Saturday, May 10th from ​​​Lansing Creeper Trail Park, 114 S Big Horse Creek Rd, Lansing, NC 28643. The ride will be approximately 30 miles.​ All paces are welcome, but you are expected to know the route and be self-supported. Bikes equipped with 32mm or bigger tires are recommended.​
